Deposits and card issuing are provided through regulated partner institutions under their licences. Ubuntu Finance operates the technology, the AI and the ledger.
Client funds are held in a segregated client account, separate from company money.
Licence numbers and partner names are published per country and updated whenever a partnership changes. Ubuntu Finance does not offer deposit-taking or lending services in a market before the relevant partnership and permissions are in place.
Gateway is a peer-to-peer marketplace. Interest rates are capped at 20% and every agreement is recorded with a tamper-proof hash.
This build is a sandbox environment. Accounts and records are real; balances are simulated test funds and no live money movement takes place.
